1. What this policy covers

This policy explains how Me & Salads (proprietor: Supriya Shivajirao Khot) collects and uses your personal data when you use meandsalads.in, our WhatsApp line or our subscriptions. We follow the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.

2. What we collect

Details you give us: name, WhatsApp number, email, delivery address, pincode and map pin, and rider instructions.

Food details: diet type, allergies, dislikes and goal quiz answers. You choose whether to share these, and we use them only to prepare and label your meals.

Orders: plans bought, skips, pauses and payment confirmations. We do not receive or store card numbers or UPI PINs.

Website data: basic device and browser information. Your pincode is remembered only in your own browser, so you do not need to type it again.

3. Why we use it

To cook, label and deliver your meals, and to send order updates, the weekly menu and delivery alerts on WhatsApp.

To keep payment records, answer questions and fix problems.

To improve our menu using combined, anonymous order trends.

To send offers, but only if you opt in. Reply STOP on WhatsApp or click unsubscribe in an email at any time.

4. Who we share it with

Delivery riders and delivery partners get your name, phone number and address for that delivery only.

Service providers who help us run the business: WhatsApp Business (messages), our website host and email provider. They may use the data only to provide their service to us.

Gym trainers or partners who referred you only see that you subscribed. They never see your contact or food details unless you tell them yourself.

Government or law enforcement authorities when the law requires it.

We do not sell your personal data.

5. How long we keep it

Order data is kept while you are a customer and for 3 years after your last order, then deleted or anonymised.

Payment records are kept for as long as accounting and tax laws require.

6. Your rights

You can ask to see the data we hold about you, correct it, delete it or withdraw a consent you gave. You can also nominate someone to exercise these rights for you.

Write to our Grievance Officer (see Contact). We will reply within 7 days. If you are not satisfied, you may complain to the Data Protection Board of India.

7. Cookies

Our website does not need you to sign in. It remembers your pincode in your own browser, and we may use Google Analytics to understand which pages are used. You can block cookies in your browser.

8. Security

Our website is served over HTTPS, and only staff who need your details to cook and deliver can see them.

9. Children

This site is not meant for children under 18 to order on their own. If you think a child has shared data with us, contact us and we will delete it.

10. Changes

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we will tell you on WhatsApp or by email before the change applies.
